Expired 35mm Agfa Vista SOLD OUT!

vista-2

Agfa film is now discontinued, which is a great pity, since the best xpro and lomo results have largely been achieved with the likes of Vista and Precisa. The remaining sticks are occasionally to be found lurking in bulk on Ebay, which is where I found this lot.

It’s expired: last recommended process date is Feb 2007, so depending on when you’re reading this, it might be a year old, or more.

It’s been pretty exhaustively tested though. I took a couple of rolls out to Tynemouth Market for some snapshots with my XA, and then over to Spectrum at the Haymarket for dev and a CD at £4, ready within the hour. Great stuff. Edit: use the all new MPS on Stepney Bank, Colorworld in North Shields, or RGB in Boro. Or possibly even your local supermarket.

The packs say 24+6, and to my surprise, there are actually 30 shots on each roll, maybe more if you load carefully. I got 31 with the XA.

I’m selling these for 50p a roll, and if I can hand them to you in person, all the better, just email me to let me know where and when.

Packs of 10 rolls are £5 plus £1 postage in the UK.

Please do feel go ahead and ask if you want more, or if you just want a couple of rolls to try.

Yeah!! I still remember Agfa Vista is a great roll with finest quality… if loaded perfectly one can capture 33 to 36 snaps even. However, not available now. Do Afga produces rolls with other Brand names?

Personally I own and regularly use a reproduction series 0 Leica and am constantly searching for 35mm color film. I am now forced to use Kodak Gold… oh for the old richness of Agfa Vista…

[...] Bought a bulk load of this recently expired Agfa 35mm, and it’s been out on some testing in my Olympus XA with very decent results. It’s primarily for the 2point71 series, but to be absolutely honest, there’s going to be more than a few rolls spare, so I’m selling it at 50p a roll. More details and a Paypal button on this Page.
