Five years ago, this day, and the quality of point-and-shoot digital cameras was this good, lens distortion included. This was collected on a visit to the Digbeth wholesale market in Birmingham for flowers and for veg for pickling, I think. Some 2 years later someone suggested that this isn’t a banksy at all. But back in the day there weren’t really any imitators. I sent him this photo and he told me about 3 or 4 more in the same general area, only one, a fly in a gas mask, I found on the front of Lloyds Bank near the Custard Factory. Big famous celeb now, eh?
