The JM debacle

It’s not a very long story, but since it isn’t mine to tell, I’ll do the remarkable, and refrain. Please feel free to comment though, if you have anything to say on the matter.

Meanwhile, here’s the Paypal button for donations to purchase a pro Flickr or other hosting account, as appropriate. £1 is enough, but if you want to do more, or pay in any other currency, or whatever, please go ahead, don’t mind me. I’ll do the right thing when we have enough clicks, but to be honest, I fear we might be at this for some time.

Here’s the button to click:

Steve has plenty of friends. There won’t be a probnlem with the dosh. What will be more difficult is keeping him here. Whether he has a pro account will make no difference to those that want him gone, unfortunately… in fact, I believe someone bought him a pro account before he was deleted a second time.

Anyway, if we have problems I can put a bit more in. Let us know. Thanks for co-ordinating this, Brenda.

Hi, he’s got support from friends but naming and shaming in forums and on the stream isn’t helping, nor is putting Fuck You Flickr on his photo’s won’t endear him to the flickr police.

Indeed. It’s more a solidarity thing really. Thanks Mox.
