Terribly soggy ground, bit too early really, and so wee, but they’re here! Already! And I haven’t done a 2009 retrospective, or a what I’m going to be doing in 2010 post, or a review of best photos of the decade or anything like that. So here’s a short version of work in hand, or planning stage, or about to happen:
Deep Sea Diving ongoing collaboration: lots of progress made with infrastructure this week (hoorah) interim viewing March 21st, put it in your diary.
lith & gum printing chems in place, big UV light in place, major review of suitable negs ongoing. Need portfolio of good prints and a definite rhythm to the practice.
photographs of artists’ studios: barely begun but will soon. 645 Blad. Fascinating.
Seaham People in planning stage, go-ahead on portrait studio space & parameters decided. Also thinking 645 Blad, but maybe 6×6 too. Start Easter-ish. Woo!
darkroom: making short list of people who would like to share/use the space, and trying them out, one at a time.
St John’s Square work is ongoing, there’s material to publish.
new in: exhibiting at Darlington Media Group’s group show, oh happy day.
thinking about how to participate in East Durham Artist’s Network in 2010: making (or not) suitable social artwork for the Courtyard Gallery, possible documentary work in Durham, maybe initiating some activity rather than just responding to requests & calls for work. All good, all enriching.
Saltburn. Exciting things afoot. Need to make a portfolio of current & ongoing work. Bought the box, so that’s a start.
Calling Spring

Spring is here! And so is this, oddly:
Woof.
