Another Wedding

Morning checklist:

1. Weather: not that it matters all that much. Storms, gales, sleet, snow, a blazing heatwave – it’s all going to happen anyway.

2. Personal maintenance stuff: long soak in hot bath, pre-emptive headache tablets, rescue remedy, comfy shoes, pockets, tissues (really), spare specs, business cards, the release forms & contract, mints.

3. Kit: camera bodies x 3 (digital, 35mm, MF), lenses x 4 (50mm, 85mm, 10-20mm, 28-200mm), flash, diffusers, spare batteries for the whole lot, tripod head, tripod, small shoulder bag (for film & spare lens), check tripod head is on the tripod. Polishing cloths.

4. Memory cards: check & clear approx 4-5GB in 4 or 6 separate cards (in case of card failure), card storage, empty zip pockets.

5. 6 rolls 35mm & 120 film, a mixture of colour neg & bw.

6. Check everything.

7. Check tripod head is still on the tripod.

8. Small change in case there’s a parking crisis.

9. Phone.

10. What’s their name? Ah yes.

Go.

Debra: It did: marvelous, thanks! 3 weeny flower girl bridesmaids active as jumping beans, and all dressed in red satin. So cute.

      Sam: Every time. ;)
