John Baxter won in 2007 with this garden landscape replete with topiary, caravan, garden shed, domestic pet and fifty-somethings. A killer combination, wouldn’t you say, with echoes of Crewdson? Well I took the plunge and entered four images this year and I’m pleased to say that I got one image accepted (Mobile Phone). Looking at the entry as a whole and those that were accepted I’m still no closer to understanding what makes a winning entry but I’m pleased to be selected nevertheless.
