Once, a while ago and rather far away, Ranjit Bhatnagar was walking to work through his local park, and being the acutely observant sort, he spied these tiny white buds peeping bravely through the snow. Not knowing anything much about them, he put their picture on the internet, idly and non-enquiringly. An unremarkable event now, in these web2 twitter-flittering days.
During this site’s lengthy hiatus, the email’s been backing up rather alarmingly. Soon, it’ll be impossible to get through the door. But, peeking through the growing deluge, like blossom in snow, was the photograph above. Thank you, Ranjit. We’ll do it again next year.
