120-film-2

Some architectural abandonment, daffodils (inspired by these, but b&w), lots of hedges, caravans, a painted-on cricket stumps, tennis net and some washing line posts,  and other odds and ends. Lots of gorgeous creamy-cold spring light. It’s been a busy weekend.

The roll of Pan F with the brown backing paper expired back in the 1980s. A hour or so prior soaking in cold water will help soften the emulsion: it didn’t feel as elastic as new(er) film, didn’t wind on very willingly. Also adding 50% to the dev time might be a good plan: we shall see. The colour film’s going to RBG tomorrow and the b&w developed by hand on Tuesday. My first time with Tri-X. Oh exquisite anticipation!

That film is ancient! Bet the images from that are interesting and quirky!
