Guardian Caught Running 2nd Rights-grab Competition

Competitions with paltry prizes and where each entry gets its copyright stolen proliferate. The big camera companies have been avoiding these but not the BBC. Has everyone seen the T&Cs on the Countryfile Calendar? How many of the photographers who submitted entries read the competition fine print, I wonder?

This latest story about the Guardian, which has been caught at this thievery once before, from EPUK.

I’m currently looking for Beyond the Lens-style web pages and resources about copyright and rights in general for photographers. Please post your favourites here, and I’ll add to this too. Thanks.
