The Bruton Stroube paintball photo

This photo has been doing the rounds a bit just lately, causing David Hobby to want to paint his whole studio white. This is what my retouching tutor calls a comp, and I’m posting it partly to remind myself of the heady heights I’m supposed to be reaching this month.
Publishing tutorials is a really great marketing tool. Here’s Bruton Stroube’s how-to video, which includes what looks like most of the post-processing steps. I certainly wouldn’t have heard of them without it, and I know lots of people who’re going to revel in every glimpse. Enjoy.
And quite co-incidentally, our friend and CS2/3 teacher Stuart Murdoch has started a series of tutorials on layers 1, layers 2, layers 3, a sound knowledge of which is what’s needed to make this. Among other things.

[Haven't quite worked out how to sort out the code for my 'finds' category with this new template, yet. So, these will just look like big posts for a while.]
