How much things change, over less than a year. These dark mornings lead to introspection. Brightening the view with a new-to-me Kiev finder means that the 6×6 will be getting more outings.
The optician has said that it might help with focusing to wear different prescription contact lenses in each eye, one for short and the other for long sight. The brain sorts the difference out. Apparently pirates (yargh), used to wear a patch to enhance night vision: the masked eye functions well in the dark. Anyone have any direct experience of this?
Isn’t it fascinating? I’d be happier trying it with glasses, mind. Contacts have a mild yuk factor that I can’t quite overcome. Might have to try, though.

That’s fascinating regarding the different contact lenses and the eye patch story.
Lovely photo too.
