More Mask

Emily 1Emily 2Dan the photographer

Posting some of the preparation/research shots done in digital for mine and other students’ Mask projects, which I think might become one of my themes for this year.

This is Dan’s studio set. His large format 5×4 camera was mounted on a rising studio stand accessed from a ladder, with Emily his model, on a duvet on the floor. Quite why he needed to be so far up I do not know. Perhaps the range of the lenses on offer didn’t give enough scope. Wide angles in LF are certainly not plentiful in our college. I’m looking forward to seeing how this one comes out. The colours here have been desaturated by much, fsvo of much, in Lightroom.
