It is unresponsible for somebody to assume that police controlled cameras will never be used by the the “state” or the federal government. When I worked at the gas station it WAS being recorded, and the tapes were kept for a month I believe. I didn’t care that I was on camera, it was as much as to keep employees from stealing as it was for evidence in case of a crime.

With regards to your comment of it as a deterrent to criminals, that is a joke. Take a look at the crime statistics lately, tell me if cameras everywhere make us safer, that’s a lie.

The camera footage of the crash at the pentagon (PRIVATE CAMERAS) on 911 was siezed by the FBI (without a suponea) and never returned.

I suggest that Mr. Pollard is doing a fine job and I intend to follow his lead here in the USA.

Here is something closer to home for you.

Two of my friends have recently tried to communicate with Mr Pollard, agreeing that he’s obviously displayed a degree of (probably misdirected and pointless) bravery in filming the police in the face of their opposition. He appeared happy enough with that salute to his ego.

However, when further comments were posted, enquiring into his fixation with conspiracy theories (the masonic one seems to be big with this guy) – they were blocked from his site and blocked as spam on YouTube.

Mr P’s clever and well crafted response was a one word response: “Twat”. No Oscar Wilde is Mr Pollard.

About time West Mids Police got their act together and liaised with whichever agencies he’s taking money from, while attempting to be a Brummie journo, to either get him into gainful employment, or lock him up.

Poor guy – even poorer (no doubt in many ways) will be the kids he’s indoctrinating on his little patch.

Can you imagine meeting this guy in a pub – how long before you’d want to leave or just hit him?
