Found Christi Nielsen’s Beauty in a Box some months back, was transfixed. Camera as mirror: painted portrait. Do click through and see. This one below is edgier though: I like her expressions and the way she moves into and away from the lens. Seeing this has brought to mind one of my oldest friends the other day, responding to a side-slung attempted insult: “Are you one of those ‘uckin’ feminists, then?” She peered at the lad, and paused before replying: “Isn’t everyone?”
