Getting the psyche back into gear for going back to college in a couple of weeks, and looking back over the pile of negatives and prints on my desk, and the huge slew of tiffs on a spare hard drive here. More to come, as some of these get the all-important reification treatment.
This poor cameraphone photo is of one of my favourite moments of 2007, a request by one of the college staff for a hot-from-the-darkroom wet print of Chinese Girl: after Tretchicoff for the foyer wall. Sad thing is, we won’t be doing any more of these: the colour print rooms have all been dismantled to make way for a swish new digital suite. Ah well: it was fabulous while it lasted.
Fingers crossed that enough hard work will result in more stuff that’s good enough to go on the wall, in 2008. Would you believe I’m getting nervous?

Lucky me, hmm? There is a symposium thing on in Durham on the w/e of the 20th. Might give you a temporary fix? I’ll dig it out and post.
