Moving In…

moving in

Trying a few alternatives to the dreaded F word, mostly seeking somewhere for the village weblog photos at present, and that means finding something that will give me the code in the photo sizes I need to fit the blogger template. That or pester Josh to allow whatever tech things to happen to host one’s own. Hmm. Anyhow, even though the WP/Made interface looks smooth and easy here, and I can host my own photos on this site, the above is hosted on Ipernity, which looks like it’s the favoured move of choice for the disaffected German contingent.

At least now that things have slowed a tad on the domestic and professional fronts, there will be time to get this sorted. Hopefully. And if the weather continues so drear, there will really be no excuse.

And in other news…. I sold my beloved FM2 for a measly £120 or so, to offset the cost of all this new camera equipment. Crazy, hmm? I want to be like S2 Murdoch and make magick with a phone!

Thanks for the mention there Brendadada, the prices that analogue gear is going for these days is ludicrous, still, my “blad” would be but a dream if this situation didn’t exist.

Ya know it’s funny too, coz I have access to Canon 5d’s and Pentax k100d’s, [at work] but I prefer my humble little phone, for “digital” image making. Ah well, in 10 years time when I’ve a real body of mobile phones image to work with, then, maybe then, I’ll do something exciting with them.

S2, I am thinking about having a blog/site/hosty place somewhere for only mobile phone photos. Do you have such a thing yourself?

Have opened an account at um, sevenload, which looks the likely place. German, and red, but nice. What do you think?
